RAO Mars develops and manufactures direct-drive linear synchronous motors, along with machine tools and metal structures — from design through testing, on our own production base.
About the company
CJSC "RAO Mars" is a Yerevan-based enterprise combining development, manufacturing, and testing on a single site. Its core focus is direct-drive linear synchronous motors for highly dynamic, high-precision applications. The company also manufactures CNC machine tools, metal structures, and other custom equipment.

Production capabilities
Seven in-house production shops cover the full manufacturing cycle — from raw material to tested finished product.
Procuring shop
Cutting of sheet stock, coils, bar, and ingots; plasma cutting.
Extrusion & moulding
Aluminum and PVC profile extrusion; plastic injection moulding.
Stamping & bending
CNC sheet-metal bending and stamping line, accurate to 0.1 mm.
Painting
Powder-coat painting of metal surfaces on a conveyor line.
Electroplating
Seven process lines: chrome, nickel, and zinc plating, aluminum anodizing.
Tool shop
In-house manufacture of molds, dies, and tooling.
Testing center
Climatic, vibration, and shock testing, plus interference resistance checks.

Our flagship line is a family of in-house-designed linear synchronous motors used in direct-drive systems.
Linear Motors 1ML / 2ML
AC synchronous linear motors excited by permanent NdFeB magnets. Series 1ML: traction 62–520 N; Series 2ML: 130–1000 N. Protection rating IP65, insulation class F.
Direct-drive technology →"Sculptor S2000" CNC stone-processing machine
An in-house-built machine for 3D milling and engraving of natural and artificial stone, as well as wood and composite materials. Design documented under patent No. 458Ս.

Beyond its standard product line, the company designs custom equipment and electronics to customer specification — from circuit boards to complete servo-drive systems.

Company history
In 2013, a free economic zone opened on the company's premises — the opening ceremony was attended by Armenia's Prime Minister and representatives from the Russian side. The company has also presented its products at industry exhibitions in Italy and Germany.
